Eeyore was never left behind all alone.
His friends & tribe just loved & accepted him for being authentically him.
It’s ok to feel sad.
It’s ok to feel lost & alone.
It’s ok to say I’m feeling vulnerable & broken.
It’s ok to say please help me.
That takes great strength & courage when you are on your knees & shattered into oblivion to surrender.
That isn’t weakness, that’s the ultimate warrior spirit holding on for dear life.
To wave the white flag to call for backup.
Our pain & suffering comes when we don’t give our emotions & feelings the acknowledgment, respect, nurturing & love needed.
Every feeling is valid & to teach you.
If we bury, run from, or oppress our emotions, they will come back up again darker, uglier in deeply entrenched mirrors, patterns & triggers.
Learn to love & accept all of you.
Learn to not judge a book by its cover.
What you see in another just may be reflecting a truth or pain within you.
If you have walked through the shadows, you will recognise it in another.
You will see it in their eyes, for they are the window to the soul, even if they have their masks on.
Never look down on anyone or judge, unless you are standing there with a helping hand & open heart to nurture their greatest wounds.
If you can’t help them, then at least don’t hurt them.
And when the darkness threatens to consume you, call or whisper my name.
I will hear your call.
I will sit next to you in your shadows.
I will reflect your true essence back to you.
I will hold love & light for you.
I will never leave you there all alone.
Because I know how soul destroying that feels to feel all alone, broken, betrayed & abandoned.
We all need to feel seen, heard, loved, safe, to belong.
Can you be the love & light for someone’s shadow?
Something to ponder
Love, light & blessings
