Mental Health – Anxiety
Here is a great picture showing the anxiety iceberg & I think it’s a wonderful way to help people understand.
People are like icebergs, you only see the tip or what we see on the outer perception of a person.
Many people wear masks & are masters at hiding their pain.
Many are quick to judge.
But do you know their story?
Do you know what they have lived with & through?
Can you understand if you haven’t walked a mile in someone’s shoes?
Can you understand that not everyone can “just get on with it” or “gets through bad times”.
Can you find understanding, forgiveness or compassion?
We can all have times when life just gets too tough & we become anxious or overwhelmed because we don’t know what to do or have clarity yet.
But that passes.
Some live with crippling anxiety daily, literally unable to function.
Anxiety comes from fear or being out of control.
Anxiety has an unhealed emotion, fear, trigger, mirror, pain & suffering.
If life is too hard for you now, please reach out to family, friends, professionals help.
Let’s get rid of the shame around Mental Health.
It effects far more people & families than you know.
